It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Kevin Smith's work, however before Clerks I had never even heard of him. Some of you may or may not know that Clerks was made for a small amount of money only $25,000 in fact and it was so good that it earned over $3 million. However putting that aside for one minute lets get onto the review.
I can't really tell you much about the plot of this movie because really there isn't much of a story just a bunch of events that happen during one day behind the counters of two adjacent convenience stores. One of the store employees is Dante Hicks (Brian O'Halloran) who is supposed to not be working on the day this movie takes place however he is asked to come in by the boss and being the kind guy that he is he agrees to work a few hours in the morning however he ends up staying the whole day. Next door to this convenience store is a video store and Randal Hicks works there. Randal is the complete opposite of Dante and is often very rude to the customers.
Randal and Dante are both in their 20's and are trying to find their way in life however they don't seam to get far as their often talking about sex and other goings on that you probably shouldn't in a store.
Through out the day we get to see a wide variety of characters and two of them that are now household names Jay and Silent Bob make up the quality of this movie. Jay is a young man who cant seam to keep still or even keep quiet for that matter who constantly shouts out bad language and also talks about sex a lot, Silent Bob is in fact silent and doesn't move or do much through out the movie.
This movie is really a bunch of continuous conversations which range from sex to star wars and will have you laughing for most of the duration of the movie. Having said that Clerks isn't a movie for everyone's taste, however if strong language doesn't offend you then if you haven't seen Clerks I strongly recommend getting this movie.

Movie Review - 'The Expendables'
Some observers call this 'THE EXPENDABLES' as Sylvester Stallone's ambitious project. The players of this film are the action class actors of Hollywood, like Jason Statham, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke and of course, Stallone. Stallone becomes a director and the screenwriter of this movie.
In this film, you can also see the action of Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Steve Austin, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The summary of this movie:
The power of Gen Garza (David Zayas) in a country in the South America is very sturdy. With the military power he has, Garza oppresses its citizens and opposes the policies of other countries around him. After the death of an American citizen in the hands of Garza, the American government has no choice. The government creates a scenario to defeat the power of Garza.
Unfortunately, sending down the troops directly into the land is clearly not possible. The only way is by sending down the unofficial troops to do a coup and liberate the people of the country from the oppression that has been running for over twenty years. The problem is the reality that the American government should have the really tough troops because they would not get any help from any party.
The expectation of the American government is now dependent on Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), the team leader of The Expendables. Together with Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Tool (Mickey Rourke), Bao Thao (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) and Toll Road (Randy Couture), Barney must successfully kill Garza and defeat the regime.
Unfortunately, this mission is not an easy mission. Besides they will not get any help from the U.S. military, there is also a CIA agent, named Monroe (Eric Roberts) who apparently does not want the collapse of Garza power.
This film is filmed in Brazil, Los Angeles, and New Orleans and estimated to cost about $ 60 millions. If you are action movie lovers, this movie will be released in USA at 13th of August 2010.

Importing Effects and Transitions Movie
Once you have found that effect or transition that you can't live without, you will need to copy the code provided on the post into an empty Notepad document.
In order for Windows movie Maker to interpret your new effect or transition, you must save the Notepad document where you pasted the code into, ensuring that the file-name is saved with an xml extension. Following the next 3 steps will ensure that your new effects file gets saved properly.
1. Select "File" from the file menu in Notepad and click on "Save". When the "Save" dialog box pops up, click the drop-down box next to "Save as type" and select "All Files".
2. In the text box next to "File name", you can use any name you wish as long as you add ".xml" at the end (ie. yourfilename.xml).
3. Browse to the folder that you created earlier (C:\Program Files\movie Maker\Shared\ADDonTFX) and click the "Save" button.
